Tile drainage systems require very little maintenance when installed correctly — and with a high-quality installation, many farmers go years without needing to do anything at all. The main thing to watch is the outlets: ensure they remain clear, visible, and protected from damage. Occasionally, outlets can be crushed by ditch mowing equipment, which may restrict drainage.
